Remotely Operated Vehicles
Maritime Survey Services houses two Outland 2500 ROVs that can perform many services. With the onboard Ultra Short Baseline (USBL) tracking system, the position of the ROV can be clearly monitored and recorded throughout the survey process while acquiring video information.
Our ROVs can provide 360 degrees of scanning to show true bearing to underwater structures that are beyond the visibility of a diver’s eye or camera. The USBL system means we can accurately geo-reference the ROVs track and route to its real-world position. The low light camera has Lignification to enhance all types of lighting environments ensuring the best view of the targets available to provide our clients with high quality images and video.
Often our ROVs can provide the client with more information than what is possible from a diver.
